She was recalled for another round which saw her qualifying for intake and was among 15 others who were selected.
The news to her was a shock because it would be her first time flying and that marked the beginning of her career. She took her first training and her first flight to Addis Ababa.
Karauri is vocal about overcoming a fear she, thought she had (the fear of heights). She is passionate about her job and even describes herself as a travel enthusiast.
