Lindy Elkins-Tanton

(Episode 4) — Dr. Lindy Elkins-Tanton is the Director of the School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State. Her area of expertise is planet formation and evolution. Dr. Elkins-Tanton brings a fascination of major extinctions and the role of massive volcanic eruptions in those events.  She has also studied planetesimals, the Moon, Mercury, the Earth, and rocky exoplanets. Craig Hardgrove

(Episode 3) — Dr. Craig Hardgrove was recently chosen by NASA to lead a team of researchers putting the “LunaH-Map” in orbit around the moon. Dr. Hardgrove and his team will build and operate the instrument at Arizona State in an ongoing effort to characterize the moon’s water content. He is also a member of the Mars Science Laboratory camera and neutron detector team. Follow him on twitter @hardgrove.
